According to reports from The Day, Villalba’s Chevrolet Tracker vehicle hit the guardrail and fell into a reservoir known as Dique las Piedras, located at kilometer 678 of Route 51, in the Coronel Pringles – Bahía Blanca section.
While the exact circumstances of the accident remain unclear, preliminary investigations suggest that Villalba may have made a maneuver to avoid a truck, leading to the fatal plunge. Authorities initially located the vehicle but found it unoccupied, prompting a large-scale search operation.
