Retired at 68? Vyskočil criticizes it, according to Adamovska it is necessary

The considered increase in the retirement age to 68 divides the Czechia into two camps, and the same applies in show business. The editors of TN.cz asked what celebrities think about a possible change to the system. Zlata Adamovská, Heidi Janků, Marie Rottrová and the icon of the Czech music scene Marta Kubišová had their say. However, the actor Ivan Vyskočil strongly objected to the government’s steps.

While actress Zlata Adamovská partially supported the increase in the pension limit and criticized the irresponsible behavior of previous governments, actor Ivan Vyskočil strongly rejected it. Some celebrities haven’t even thought about retirement yet.

Unfortunately, it is necessary

“Unfortunately, this government must correct what the previous governments neglected. The jump is of course a big one, but the pension reform has to be solved somehow. It’s true that I wouldn’t like to retire until I’m 68, but who would want that,” Zlata Adamovská revealed to the editorial staff of TN.cz.

“I’m already retired. If it is currently necessary, then it must be done. I know doctors who operate and they are seventy and older. So it depends on who it would concern.” supported fellow singer Marie Rottrová with a similar opinion.

What does Marta Kubišová think?

“I’ve been retired since I was sixty. When I asked myself if I should retire, they told me that it would be good,” the singer Marta Kubišová confided about her own experience.

“What can I tell you at eighty, a person is slower in old age and the number of diseases increases, it is probably very individual. Some people are still strong at eighty and others are not. I knew that I had to stop singing at the age of seventy-five, that it was too much for me,” explained Marta Kubišová, that it depends on specific people.

I arranged accordingly. I can recommend it to some and not to others.” the popular singer smiled.

Heidi Janků sees flaws in the proposal

“Obviously it’s not all good news for the hard working people. I don’t think the government has thought this out very well.” Heidi Janků explained that raising the limit might not be the smartest solution.

“I know that many people around 65 to 68 still like to work, they are healthy and nothing prevents them from working. The question is what will this do to the job market for young people, if there are still places for them,” pondered Janků.

He jumped out against them fundamentally

“I don’t care anymore. Overall, I think this government is worth a fart and is just figuring out how to get money from people that it could send to Ukraine.” actor Ivan Vyskočil was angry.

According to him, the current government canceled the benefits that should have remained for the people. Ivan Vyskočil criticized that the state gradually reduced fare subsidies. He does not like the situation of pensioners either.

František Ringo Čech quits politics

The popular singer František Ringo Čech preferred not to comment on the increase in the retirement age. “I’m done with politics, ask a young person. I can only say that I’m done with Miloš Zeman,” the musician stated emphatically.

“I don’t want to argue with anyone anymore, I distance myself from politics. I’m only interested in Slavia,” František Ringo Čech complained about politics.

Some don’t think about it

“I’m a bit taken aback by the question, I haven’t thought about it yet so I probably can’t answer it” said moderator Aleš Háma. “I don’t have an opinion on that at all,” the musician Felix Slováček answered similarly.

Actors are not affected by pensions. An actor either runs or lies down,” concluded actress Dana Morávková.

According to Peter Pavel, different professions should not have the same retirement age. Watch the video:
