After watching him several times in the Argentine championship, Inter continues to follow Mateo Retegui also in the national team. The Nerazzurri management was present in Naples for the match against England and did it again in Malta. Two challenges with a common denominator, the goal of the attacker born in ’99, which begins to attract the attention of various clubs, Italian and beyond.
In Viale della Liberazione there are several reports concerning Retegui, all of them describing him as a valid shot in perspective, but the current price is no longer that of a few months ago, when Inter and Tigre opened the first dialogues relating to the player. Retegui’s valuation was around ten million euros in total, which probably won’t be enough now, but the nerazzurri have an important card that they can play with the Tiger, namely that Facundo Colidio who after so much wandering is finally highlighting his talents. Retegui’s card is currently owned by Boca Junior but at the end of the season the Tigre will be able to redeem him definitively against an outlay of around 2.5 million euros, obviously in order to resell him and obtain a robust capital gain.
