ARC SYSTEM WORKS announced today (29) SQUARE ENIX’s RPG “Resurrection Cthulhu 3” will be available for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch Traditional Chinese physical box / digital download version. At the same time, the traditional Chinese version of the LOGO and some game screens will be released.
“Resurrection of Cthulhu 3” is the sixth game in the “SaGa” series, one of SQUARE ENIX’s representative RPG works. It was widely loved by players after it was launched on Super Nintendo in 1995. The HD Remaster version, which enhances image quality, adds new chapters and mazes and other new elements, has been launched in Japanese and English on 8 platforms including PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in November 2019. This year, the Asian branch of Yake System will be responsible for the official traditional Chinese culture of the game and will release the physical boxed and digital download version.
In this game, the player will select one of the 8 unique protagonists, and the story unfolds. In the game, various stories can be triggered through the “free script” that changes according to your own choices and actions. In addition, through the “SaGa” series’ unique “Flash” system, not only can you learn skills, but you can also use the “Formation” system to freely organize teams for more strategic battles.
In the HD Remaster version, through the addition of new elements such as the new maze “Dark Labyrinth” and various new episodes “NEW GAME+”, you can experience a further improved interface and sense of operation and play the game.
This work is also the second official Chinese cultural series after the mobile game “Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe”. The Chinese version of “Resurrection of Cthulhu 3 HD Remaster” has not yet been released to the public.
