The Kamango general referral hospital in the Watalinga chiefdom, Beni territory resumed activities this weekend in its own premises after about a year of closure following the massacres of the ADF on the spot.
As residents moved from Kamango to Nobili, even the hospital there was moved to operate within the facilities of the Kahondo health center in Nobili.
Doctor Josué Ndungo Kitsamuli, interim head of zone doctor in Kamango health zone, confirms the reopening of the premises in Kamango. He indicates that this follows the small lull that appears to be back in the area.
However, he indicates that the hospital is facing several difficulties, notably the insufficiency of drugs, medical equipment and others. He invites men of good will to to assist this hospital.
