Consult the results of the 2022 presidential election in all regions, departments and main municipalities of France. The two rounds take place on Sundays April 10 and 24, 2022, twelve candidates have collected the necessary 500 sponsorships. On the evening of April 10, Emmanuel Macron came first with 27.8% of the vote, followed by Marine Le Pen, 23.1%. Third, Jean-Luc Mélenchon obtains 21.9%. Following Eric Zemmour at 7.1%, he is ahead of Valérie Pécresse who shows 4.8%. On the left, Yannick Jadot obtains 4.6% of the vote, when Fabien Roussel obtains 2.3% and Anne Hidalgo, 1.8%. On the right, Jean Lassalle achieves a score of 3.1% and Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, 2.1%. Philippe Poutou and Nathalie Arthaud bring up the rear with 0.8 and 0.6% of the vote. The abstention rate for this 1st round is 26.31%, unheard of since 2002.
It is therefore a new Macron / Le Pen duel that is emerging in the second round. In 2017, the French elected Emmanuel Macron (En Marche!) with 66.1% of the vote against the FN candidate, who obtained 33.9% of the vote. The 2017 presidential turnout was 77.77% in the first round and 74.56% in the second round.
