The certainty was after the Indonesian Women’s Volleyball National Team silenced the Philippines. Through four games Yolla Yuliana et al won with a score of 3-1 (25-21, 22-25, 25-19, 25-21).
The course of the match
The Indonesian women’s volleyball team faced stiff resistance from the Philippines at the start of the first set. But they managed to overcome the pressure to lead 15-12.
The Indonesian women’s volleyball team continued to show slick games and made the Philippines fail to catch up with the points. As a result, Indonesia managed to close the first set with a 25-21 victory.
Meanwhile, at the start of the second set, the match was tight again with both teams trying to lead the points. However, the Indonesian volleyball team managed to show a good performance by winning 9-7.
However, the Indonesian women’s volleyball team failed to maintain their lead, after getting stiff resistance from the Philippines. They also had to lose in the second set to the Philippines with a score of 22-25.
At the start of the third set, the Indonesian women’s volleyball team showed a good performance by leading 12-7 over the Philippines. However, the opponent gave fierce resistance and managed to add points, but the Indonesian women’s volleyball team managed to win in the third set with a score of 25-19.
The match was tight again in the fourth set, the Indonesian women’s volleyball team had to fall behind 8-10 from the Philippines. Even so, they managed to reverse the advantage to 25-21 over the Philippines.
