During the next meeting in the Ramstein format, the allied countries of Ukraine agreed to provide it with new equipment. In particular, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive tanks from Sweden.
It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the statement of the head of the Pentagon Lloyd Austin during the briefing.
“Sweden will provide Ukraine with 10 tanks, Norway, together with the United States, will transfer new NASAMS (air defense systems – ed.), the Netherlands will also initiate new contracts so that new weapons come to Ukraine,” the defense minister said.
He specified that Norway will transfer two NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine.
At the same time, Austin added that Slovenia assumed obligations to provide certain defense needs of Ukraine.
