Results of Free Practice III MotoGP San Marino: Dominant Yamaha, Fastest Rossi

Two riders Monster Energy Yamaha took the lead in the third free practice session MotoGP San Marino. Valentino Rossi so the fastest to beat Maverick Vinales.

In independent training III MotoGP San Marino at Marco Simoncelli’s Misano World Circuit, Saturday (12/9/2020) afternoon WIB, Rossi recorded the best time of 1 minute 31.861 seconds. He was 0.075 seconds ahead of Maverick Vinales.

Before becoming the fastest, Rossi had slipped to 15th position. The 41-year-old rider then shot up in the final session to beat Vinales and Fabio Quartararo.

Quartararo himself occupies third position with a difference of 0.1 seconds from Rossi. Jack Miller (Pramac Ducati) then followed in fourth in front of the Suzuki duo, Alex Rins and Joan Mir.

Francesco Bagnaia, who fractured the shin in his right leg in Brno, is back in action this weekend. Even though he still had to use crutches when not on the bike, the Pramac Ducati rider was able to occupy seventh position.

Johann Zarco, together with Andrea Dovizioso in 10th place, ensured that four Ducati riders went straight to Q2 after finishing in eighth. Franco Morbidelli, who is ranked ninth, also confirmed that Yamaha has four riders in Q2.

Meanwhile, KTM has actually decreased. After placing four riders in the top 10 on Friday (11/09/2020), KTM got a disappointing result in the third free practice session.

Pol Espargaro crashed and only finished 12th. Meanwhile, Brad Binder is 17th, ahead of Alex Marquez (Repsol Honda).
