MISANO – Red Bull KTM racer, Brad Binder, emerged as the fastest during the second free practice session (FP2) MotoGP Emilia Romagna 2020. Driving at the Misano Circuit, Binder recorded a lap time of 1 minute 31.628 seconds.
In the first training session (FP1), Binder was actually only able to rank 14th. That is why the South African racer was able to make a surprise in this session.
Meanwhile, the Petronas Yamaha SRT racer, Fabio Quartararo, who in FP1 ranked first, now has to be knocked out to third place. The racer nicknamed El Diablo was only 0.016 seconds behind Binder.

Although Quartararo’s timeline is not far from Binder, it turns out that there are those who are even closer. He is the LCR Honda racer, Takaaki Nakagami. Because, Nakagami is only 0.002 seconds away from Binder and occupies second place.
Even though the Misano Circuit is well known as the home of Yamaha, their riders struggle quite a lot in FP2. Maverick Vinales failed to repeat the fastest lap time and could only finish fourth. Meanwhile, Valentino Rossi is 12th.
However, the most surprising is Franco Morbidelli. Status as the 2020 San Marino MotoGP champion, Morbidelli actually fell 0.679 seconds behind Binder and finished in 14th place.
