JAYAPURA – Sports competitions badminton men’s team number in the event XX Papua National Sports Week (PON) 2021 starts to be held today, Tuesday (5/10/2021). There were a series of matches that were held, one of which was the DKI Jakarta meeting with North Sumatra.
The inaugural match of the men’s badminton team PON XX Papua 2021 which was held at GOR Waringin, Jayapura, Papua, was exciting and interesting. Two favorite contingents, namely DKI Jakarta and East Java, also competed. Today, DKI Jakarta meets Sumatra, while East Java has a duel with Lampung.
As a result, the DKI Jakarta men’s team team successfully won after overthrowing the North Sumatra team with a landslide score of 5-0. Just like DKI Jakarta, the East Java men’s team team also managed to crush the Lampung team with a score of 5-0.

The first point of DKI Jakarta itself was successfully obtained through the action of Christian Adinata, who is a PBSI national training athlete. Then, the other four points were scored by Amri Syahnawi, Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan, Karono, Adnan Maulana, Ghifari Anandaffa Prihardika, and Yonathan Ramlie.
