Results and Updates: Municipal Elections in Almonte, Huelva (May 28) with 16,198 Voters

Up to 16,198 voters are scheduled to go to the polls this Sunday, May 28 in Almonte. They will have to elect the representatives of their town in municipal elections that ‘Huelva Information’ will bring you closer. Starting at 8:00 p.m., when the polling stations close, the results will be progressively updated as the counting progresses.

The municipal elections left a result of nine councilors for Ilusiona, six for the PSOE, three for the PP, two for Mesa de Convergencia and one for Independientes. Currently, the mayor is Rocío del Mar Castellano (Convergence Table) after the pact reached after the elections.

A total of 281 candidates are competing on Sunday, May 28, the councilors of the 80 municipalities of the province of Huelvaincluding the capital, and the two ELAs (La Redondela and Tharsis) which represents a slightly lower figure compared to the 2019 elections, in which 291 were counted.

As published in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP), the 80 municipalities of the province have more than one candidacy, since both PSOE and PP have presented mayors in all of them and the two ELAs (La Redondela and Tharsis).
