The PP and the PSOE have tied in the general elections in the province of Córdoba and get two seats each in the Congress of Deputies. With these numbers, both political formations maintain the seats obtained in the November 2019 elections.

With 99.38% of the votes counted, the PP prevails over the Socialists in number of votes by getting 25,386 more. He obtained two deputies -the same as the two reached almost four years ago- and 37.88% of the votes, while the PSOE added 32.15% of the support, which is equivalent to maintaining the two deputies of 2019. The Socialists have left 4,180 votes compared to the 2019 elections.

Sumar maintains the seat reached in the last generals by United We Can (UP) with a support of 13.69% (60,711 ballots). Vox also ties the deputy in Congress for Córdoba conquered in November 2019 thanks to a support of 13.96% (61,903).

Turnout at the polls is 72.28%, which places abstention in Córdoba at 27.71%.

The 2019 general elections in Córdoba closed with the distribution of deputies between PSOE and PP, two for each, the rise of Vox that achieved a deputy and Podemos remained the fourth seat in contention.

The Socialist Party won again in the province of Córdoba, with 146,166 votes, 33% of the total counted. This victory, however, had a bittersweet taste, because despite the victory at the polls, the PSOE lost more than 16,000 votes along the way, keeping its two seats but finding itself matched by the PP, which also won two seats. . In addition, he also lost one of his three deputies in the Lower House in favor of the PP, leaving him with two.

November would be a great day for the Popular Party in the Cordoba province, since it managed to improve its April results, increasing its votes and reaching 22.5% support from the citizens, with 99,766 votes. In this way, he managed to match the Socialists in the number of seats, getting two representatives in Congress. A tie that occurred in the last hours of the ballot, in which the PSOE lost what was to be its third seat in favor of the PP, which took it directly from the party led by Pedro Sánchez.

Vox rose strongly, positioning itself as the third political force in the province. As in the rest of Spain, Santiago Abascal’s party managed to increase its votes in quantity, and obtained 82,162 votes in Córdoba, that is, 18.56% of the total counted, which represents an increase of more than 25,000 ballots. . Despite the good figures, he was only able to keep the seat that he obtained in the April elections and did not give him room to snatch any deputy from the main parties.

Unidas Podemos fell in votes, since it obtained a total of 64,111 votes, compared to the more than 70,000 obtained in April. This drop at the polls did not mean a major change in the purple formation either, since this 14.48% of the support would allow him to continue conserving the seat obtained in the previous elections.

Ciudadanos also sank in Córdoba, obtaining 36,039 votes and 44,000 votes being left along the way since April. With 8.14% of the total, the formation led at that time by Albert Rivera was the fifth political force in the province and lost the seat it had won in the April elections. In this way, Cordoba was left without representation in the Congress of Deputies.
