The fourth edition of the “September sale” of the Galerie de Chartres (you can find our presentation by clicking here) was a great success.
Of the fifty lots offered, only two remain unsold, namely a motorcycle tank between the pipes (estimate between 50 and 100 euros) whose starting price of 30 euros does not cause reactions and the Ariel Square Four 1000 MK2 (estimate between 15,000 and € 20,000) which, with a final bid of € 14,000, does not reach its reserve price. Note that a poster of Gladiator cycles estimated at between € 200 and € 300 will drive the counters crazy to end up with a € 14,000 auction.
In the small car category, for a classic Peugeot 102, they count 400 euros per unit. Estimates of between 500 and 900 euros were followed for slightly rarer models. The “La Goélette” moped is sold for 675 euros.
For this “Camille Foucaux” we arrive at the high estimate given that the auction is for the sum of 900 euros.
Even better for this 1953 “Chaplait” 52 S which will manage to break the hammer on a final bid of 950 euros.
We expected 250 to 300 euros for this Piaggio Ciao. The auction at 420 euros is certainly above the estimate but remains reasonable.
We turn the page to discover the results recorded by machines over 125 m3.
