VIVA Policy – Party for United Development of the Regional Governing Council (DPW) (PPP) Province Malucco held a regional leadership meeting (Rapimwil) II which was held at the Santika Hotel, Ambon City, Maluku, Thursday evening, November 3, 2022.
The Rapimwil results this time proposed two names of presidential candidates (presidential candidate) this is Pranow Award and Anies Rasyid Baswedan. Meanwhile, Muhamad Mardiono and Erick Thohir proposed for the vice-presidential candidate (cawapres).
“This is the voice of the lower class that has been passed on to the Central Executive Committee (DPP), but in the end everyone must obey the principles. What has become a central mechanism must be implemented. Furthermore, we have a link with the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB), “said the interim general president of the PPP, Muhammad Mardiono in Ambon, Maluku.
Mardiono explained that the proposals of various regions regarding the names of candidates for the presidency and vice-presidency were not decided by the DPP. Indeed, the center itself still continues to hear the sound of the undercurrent.
“This is also not a decision, it is only the thoughts of the cadres that can also emerge in the community. It is called a democratic party, so all citizens have the same rights,” he said.
Meanwhile, Maluku PPP DPW chairman A. Aziz Hentihu stressed that he would continue to obey and be firm in the DPP’s decision. According to Aziz, the DPP will not be negligent in deciding the names.
