The latest data show an increase of 104 hospitalized patients, bringing the figure to 980. Of all of them, 182 are in ICU, 22 more than the previous count.
This past Monday, the autonomous communities notified the Ministry of Health 33,932 new cases of Covid-19 during the weekend, 5,046 of them diagnosed in the last 24 hours, figures much higher than those of the same day last week, when 32,607 positives were reported.
Thus, the total number of infections in Spain has already risen to 3,971,124 since the start of the pandemic, according to official statistics.
