The Community of Madrid has confirmed that it will lift the perimeter closure established for the entire region for the entire region on the occasion of Holy Week at midnight from Friday to Saturday, while it has announced that it will extend the existing general measures for 14 more days, which in They were originally going to be in effect until April 12 and will continue at least until April 26: the curfew from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., the closure of the restaurant at the same time and the prohibition of meetings of non-cohabitants in homes.
Mobility restrictions are also established in seven new basic health zones (ZBS) and in one municipality, while they end in a basic zone and six towns and are maintained in the rest of those that had them decreed. Among those that enter, those that continue and those that leave, as of next Monday, a total of 17 ZBS and five localities will be perimetrated, in which 427,809 citizens live, 6.48% of the total in the region, and they are concentrated 9.18% of the cases in the last 14 days.
The Deputy Minister of Public Health and the covid-19 plan, Antonio Zapatero, has indicated that in recent weeks “a slight upward trend” has been maintained in the accumulated incidence ―at 14 days it is 321 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and seven, 149 -, as well as in the number of new cases. “We are, without a doubt, collecting the effects of Holy Week and the perimeter closure that, as we said, was going to have direct consequences on the behavior and transmissibility of the virus,” Zapatero pointed out, without providing a single piece of information to support this thesis. There are 2,047 patients admitted for coronavirus in shospitals, of which 1,933 are in the ward and 474 are in the ICU.
These are, one by one, the measures in force in the region:
Restrictions by basic health zones
A health ZBS is not a neighborhood or a district, it is a set of streets that belong to the same health center. To find out if you live in a confined area or the incidence of the virus in your neighborhood, enter your street in this search engine. The criteria for the confinement of a ZBS or municipality is to have a cumulative incidence of coronavirus of 400 cases per one hundred thousand inhabitants, an upward trend and community transmission.
– New restricted areas. From 00:00 on Monday, April 12 to 00:00 on Monday, April 26, the ZBS of Villanueva del Pardillo are restricted; La Princesa and Barcelona, in Móstoles; Villa de Vallecas (district of Villa de Vallecas), Quinta de los Molinos (district of San Blas-Canillejas), Barajas (district of Barajas) and Silvano (in the district of Hortaleza) of Madrid capital; as well as in the municipality of Manzanares El Real.
– Zones in which restrictions are lifted. From 00.00 on Monday, April 12, the ZBS of Núñez Morgado (Chamartín district) in Madrid capital, and the towns of Chapineria, Torrejón de Velasco, Villanueva de la Cañada, Navacerrada, Navas del Rey and Santos de la are no longer restricted. Smoky.
– Areas in which the restrictions are maintained. Mobility limitations continue for one more week, that is, until 00.00 on Monday, April 19, at the ZBS of Las Margaritas, in Getafe; San Fernando, in San Fernando de Henares; in Madrid capital those of Alameda de Osuna (Barajas district), Rejas (San BlasCanillejas), Chopera (Arganzuela); Virgin of Begoña (Fuencarral-El Pardo); Vicálvaro-Artilleros and Valdebernardo (Vicálvaro); Oliva Valley (Majadahonda) and the basic area of Villaviciosa de Odón. The entrances and exits will also be limited for one more week, except for justified reasons, in the towns of La Cabrera, Moralzarzal, Colmenarejo and Paracuellos de Jarama.
In these closed areas, the additional measure applies:
-Movement restrictions. Entry and exit are prohibited, except for “adequately justified trips” by means of a document (here you can download the receipt to enter or leave for work reasons or to care for the elderly or dependents). Among the exceptions are going to the doctor, work or educational centers, return to the place of habitual residence, care for the elderly, minors or dependents and attendance at exams or judicial, administrative or banking procedures. Zones can be crossed and citizens can move within them. The capacity and hours are the same as in the non-restricted areas. Entrances and exits from the closed ZBS to sports centers are allowed, provided that the activities are developed by physical trainers and under medical prescription.
Measures for the entire Community of Madrid
-End of the perimeter closure. Starting at 00.01 on Saturday, April 9, you can enter and leave the region. However, there are hardly any possibilities to travel, since only the Canary Islands, for the moment, lifts the regional closure this weekend together after the reversal of Extremadura, which had also announced it at first. The Balearic Islands, which decreed it on March 26, will do so on April 12.
– Restoration and commerce. The closing hours of bars and restaurants remain fixed for 14 more days at 23.00. These establishments cannot admit new customers after 10.00 pm, although they are allowed to distribute food until midnight. The limit of customers at the tables on the terraces is also kept at six, a maximum of four inside the premises. Bar consumption is prohibited.
As for the shops, the shutter is lowered at 10 pm also for 14 more days. Only those that provide essential and unavoidable services such as pharmacies, medical centers, veterinarians and gas stations can remain open beyond this time. Cinemas, theaters, auditoriums, tent circuses, multipurpose multipurpose halls, “similar spaces” and places of worship may end their activity after 10 pm if attendees respect the curfew.
– Curfew. It is also established for 14 more days from 23:00 to 6:00, a period during which mobility is prohibited, except for just cause such as going to or returning from work.
– Social meetings. It is still not possible to receive home visits for another 14 days, except for exceptions, such as couples and married couples living in different homes or people living alone, who may be reunited with a single coexistence unit.
– Gauges. In interior places the capacity is 50% and the bar service in bars and restaurants is still suspended. The exceptions to the general rule of 50% are: 75% occupancy in theaters, cinemas and other cultural facilities, 40% in multipurpose multipurpose rooms (such as the Wizink Center) and 75% in outdoor terraces, commercial establishments and centers non-regulated training.
