Berlin –
Germany plans to drastically reduce its air traffic with the United Kingdom, Brazil, South Africa and Portugal, countries it considers the most affected by the variants of the coronavirus, in order to protect itself from new infections, the Interior Minister said on Thursday.
“We are concentrating on the mutation zones (of the virus) for this proposal to restrict travel,” Horst Seehofer told reporters, explaining that the German government will present a plan in this regard on Friday. (I)
