Former Prime Minister Victor Ciorbea told B1 TV’s Denise Rifai 40 questions that during his reign “the light at the end of the tunnel could be seen”, and the most important achievement was, in addition to restoring King Mihai’s citizenship, co-opting for the first time in office of the UDMR.
“It was an important moment in the normalization of relations with Hungary and the Hungarian minority, without which I never had the hope of joining NATO and the European Union. In his capacity as ombudsman, Ciorbea said that he opposed PSD, contrary to the general opinion.
