Protest Amsterdam dissolved
On Saturday afternoon, the police intervened by order of the Security Region in a protest by Amsterdam Danst Ergens Voor. “The protesters did not adhere to the predetermined restrictions.”
Some of the demonstrations were announced in advance and were subject to restrictions, police said, such as a designated demonstration location and times for demonstrations. “At the demonstration location on the head of Java Island, about thirty demonstrators appeared after the set demonstration time of 5 p.m.” Protesters were then asked to leave the site. This happened without further incidents worth mentioning. “The same goes for a number of small demonstrations spread around the city. At one point the large group split up into smaller groups and those groups of protesters then spread through the city. ”
