Restaurants in Berlin: New fast food chain! This movie star is behind it

It’s not as if there aren’t enough fast food restaurants in Berlin, but this new chicken shop on Mohrenstraße in Mitte is something special. It’s the very first branch of the US company in the capital.

“Slim Chickens” has actually been around in the USA since 2003. A few years ago, the fast-food chain expanded to England, where there are now 53 branches. The restaurant in Berlin is the first in Germany, and 20 more are to follow soon.

This fast food chain has now opened its first restaurant in Berlin

The chain was founded 21 years ago by financial expert Tom Gordon in the US state of Arkansas. As the “Berliner Morgenpost” reported that restaurateur Max Beutler discovered “Slim Chickens” in Great Britain and has now brought it to the capital as managing director. A well-known Berlin film star has also invested his money in the franchise.
