The closure is part of the Safe September Plan, which oversees compliance with regulations for events during the holidays.
Less than a week from the National Holidaysthe Municipality of La Florida closed down a restaurant that was being set up on Avenida Vicuña Mackenna, stop 27.
The decision, taken by ordinance of the Presidential Delegation of the Metropolitan Regionwas due to the lack of necessary health permits for its operation.
The inn, promoted as “Chilean Party La Florida 2024“, did not have the authorization required by the Presidential Delegation.
According to Alejandra Salazar, Director of Citizen Security of La Florida, the irregularities include the lack of adequate measures for the food sales, waste disposal, y security in case of emergencies.
The event, which was scheduled to run from September 17 to 22, was closed as part of the Safe September Plan, which oversees commercial activities during the National Holidays.
Director Salazar also explained that the inn did not comply with the Basic regulations for mass events, such as free access to public toilets and an adequate sewage and grease disposal system.
In addition, the event did not have the evacuation or emergency measures required for an expected attendance of more than 3,000 people.
