Rest from MHK President Ferhat Gündoğdu to Nihat Özdemir

Another dispute arose between the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and the Central Referee Board (MHK). When the Arbitration Board canceled the decision regarding the 13 referees who were removed from the duty list in the Super League, the eyes were turned to MHK President Ferhat Gündoğdu.

Although Gündoğdu was asked to resign, saying, “We couldn’t wait for one day,” the President of the MHK does not take a step back on this issue.

It was learned that after the Arbitration Board said stop to the referee and observer operation carried out by the MHK under the chairmanship of Ferhat Gündoğdu on March 8, MHK President Gündoğdu said that he did not intend to resign and that he would not give duties to the returned referees and observers until the end of the season.

THEY DID NOT PARTICIPATE IN ANTALYA CAMP, NO MISSION!

It is also among the information received that the President of MHK, who took the Super League referees to a 3-day camp in Antalya between 26-28 March, did not think of assigning a task to the referees, using the excuse that they did not participate in the camp in Antalya despite the decision of the Arbitration, and said that he would lower all of them in classification at the end of the season.

However, in a statement he made four days ago, TFF President Nihat Özdemir said, “We took a decision about the arbitrators. Our friends applied to the Arbitration Board. The file is being examined there. Our Arbitration Board is our Supreme Court. Everyone should respect the decision of the Arbitration.”
