South Solok Police Acting Chief, AKP Dadang Iskandar, has been named as a suspect in the case burning to the Chief of the Criminal Investigation Unit for the South Solok Police, AKP Riyanto Ulil Anshar. AKP Dadang is now facing the death penalty.
“Yes. The threat is the death penalty, life imprisonment and 20 years in prison,” West Sumatra Regional Police Public Relations Chief Kombes Dwi Sulistyawan said as reported by detik North SumatraSunday (24/11/2024).
Direskrimum Polda West Sumatra Kombes Andry Kurniawan said that AKP Dadang was accused of several articles. The police charged the perpetrator with murder and premeditated murder.

“Based on sufficient evidence, we have detained that person. Investigators have charged him with several articles. Starting with murder. Plan 340 of the Criminal Code, sub-group 338 and 351 paragraph 3,” he said.
“Yes (death penalty) if it refers to article 340 of the Criminal Code,” he continued.
The shooting incident by AKP Dadang against AKP Riyanto took place in the early hours of Friday (22/11). AKP Riyanto died in this incident.
