According to the Collective Propaganda Foundation of the Dutch Book (CPNB), it is impossible in the short term to determine who is responsible for the digital manipulation of the NS Audience Award voting form. The CPNB is the organizer of the audience award.
In a press release, the CPNB seeks to clarify the decision not to award the NS Public Award. According to the CPNB, it was “improper to exclude authors or books from NS Publieksprijs 2022”. Also, the voting module cannot be secured quickly for a reliable voting result.
This morning it was announced that the prize will not be awarded because the voting process has been manipulated on a large scale and as a result it has become impossible for the vote to be fair.
Last weekend the voting form was out for a while shutdown after reporting that the e-mail addresses of members of parliament were used to vote on the book The Corona deception by Thierry Baudet,

And Claudia de Breij, who was nominated for her book Amalia, thanks the voters Instagram. “You have shown that you understand the idea of free and fair elections. The good news is: literature, art and culture are not a competition. This is much more than a competition, it is about democracy,” says De Breij in a video.
