FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The duet of Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar became a public conversation.
The news about Anies-Cak Imin inflamed the Democratic Party and the Secretary General of the Democrats, Teuku Riefky Harsya, made quite a strong statement.
Chairman of the National Confederation of Anies Volunteers (KoReAn) Muhammad Ramli Rahim said that everything related to the Coalition and the Vice President has never been a problem.
“KoReAn remains focused and perpendicular to the future presidential candidate Anies Baswedan,” said Ramli, Thursday night (31/8/2023).
It was emphasized that all Anies volunteers affiliated with KoReAn are 100% pure fighting to win Anies Baswedan and fully accept whoever the vice presidential candidate is decided by Anies Baswedan
“For KoReAn, Anies must focus on winning the 2024 presidential election contestation so that volunteers must be able to accept any presidential election strategy for victory in the 2024 presidential election,” he said.
Previously, the NasDem Party was said to have paired presidential candidates Anies Baswedan with PKB General Chair Muhaimin Iskandar for the 2024 Presidential Election.
This then made the Democratic Party which is part of the Coalition for Change for Unity (KPP) disappointed.

Teuku Riefky Harsya conveyed the current situation of the reform coalition by explaining it sequentially.
“On Tuesday night, 29 August 2023, at the Nasdem Tower, the General Chair of the Nasdem Party Surya Paloh suddenly appointed the General Chair of the PKB Muhaimin Iskandar as Anies’ Vice Presidential Candidate, without the knowledge of the Oemokrat Party and PKS. That same night, Anies was summoned by Surya Paloh to accept the decision. A day later, August 30, 2023, presidential candidate Anies, in this very important matter, did not convey it directly to the highest leadership of the PKS and Democratic Party, but first sent Sudirman Said to convey it,” said Teuku Riefky Harsya.
