Former PSI cadres who attended the meeting are known to have included Tsamara Amany and Michael Sianipar. In Prince Siahaan’s tweet shared by Tsamara Amany, the cadres namely Anggara Wicitra, Idris Ahmad and William Aditya Sarana were also seen at the meeting.
Sigit said his party would not specifically summon PSI cadres who had reunited with former cadres. He also wasn’t concerned about whether Rian Ernest’s footsteps would be followed by other PSI cadres.
“It is normal for cadres to leave and join the party. I personally never worried about cadres leaving the PSI because there are so many more coming and they are evenly distributed all over Indonesia, not just Jakarta,” he said. said.
“The quality of the incoming cadres is also not playing, there are many activists and community leaders who will make the PSI stronger and they can continue to be there and work for the people,” he said.
Tsamara communicates the contents of the meeting
Tsamara Amany broadcast the contents of the conversation between former cadres and PSI. Tsamara said they talked about the next steps they would take for the country.
“Enough about the next steps, how can we continue to make Indonesia a common home filled with young people who have the courage to fight against various forms of corruption and acts of intolerance,” Tsamara said on Tuesday (20/12/2022) .
Regarding the fact that the former PSI cadres also discussed the “new boat” after they decided to leave the PSI, Tsamara only replied that they were in no hurry to make a decision.
“All my friends are in no hurry. As for me, I no longer have the desire to join a political party,” Tsamara said.
Tsamara said Anggara, Idris and William as DKI DPRD members for PSI faction are currently focusing on looking after their constituents in the constituency. Meanwhile, she continued, Michael and Rian, two cadres who recently left the PSI, are still reportedly considering anchoring new political parties.
“Ara (Anggara), Idris and William are focusing on component management in DKI. Mike (Michael) and Rian are still open to seeing political parties that match their ideals,” he said.
