This is the third time in five years that the English big team has played a season-long match to Norway and Ullevaal.
The original plan for Sandra Bertelsen Mcleod (30) and her two children aged six and seven was to attend Manchester United – Atlético Madrid on July 30 at the national arena.

On Friday, advance tickets for the match were released at the Norwegian supporter clubs. High demand led to the pre-sale being closed two days earlier than planned. The remaining tickets will be released on Monday.
The prices of the tickets cost a total of 650 kroner to 1475 kroner.

The sports event company ProUnite is behind the match. Sjur Mørk in the company acknowledges that it costs to get the big teams to Norway.
– I think it costs a bit. But it has its price to bring football teams in the top tier, in the same way as it costs to bring Bruce Springsteen and Elton John to Norway. But we see that the market has responded to the price level we have set, says Mørk.
– We experience the interest around the match as exceptionally large. There have been pressure on tickets I have not experienced since Liverpool came to Norway in 2008, he continues.
Mcleod, on the other hand, believes that ticket prices prevent many supporters from getting a glimpse of the Manchester United team just before the start of the season.
– They exclude very many from watching the match with the high prices. Especially those who do not have the opportunity to travel to England.

Bernt Hjørnevik is the general manager of the Scandinavian supporter club for Manchester United.
