Respect – El Al continues to win international awards

El Al Airlines has once again been awarded a 5-star rating in the prestigious APEX survey. For the third year in a row, El Al manages to be at the top of the world’s airlines in the category “Organization of the Aviation Passenger Experience”. In the world of aviation, the APEX rating is considered like a Nobel Prize in science, or like an Oscar in the world of movies.

APEX is the Airline Passenger Experience Association AIrish Passenger Exexperience association. It is a global organization that has been working for 42 years to promote service in the aviation industry. Hundreds of airlines are members of the association, and it works in cooperation with IFSA (International Flight Services Association) and with FTE (Future Travel Experience).

The association examines 600 airlines worldwide according to questionnaires filled out by passengers. The areas tested in the questionnaires are: seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverages, entertainment system and Wi-Fi. According to the analysis of the results, the airlines are ranked in stars. Only 20 airlines out of the 600 that are tested receive five stars each year.

This prestigious award joins a series of other awards of excellence won by El Al in the past year: the BRAVO consumer recommendation award for 2023, in collaboration with the international research institute “Cantar Media”, 2 awards in the MIL competition for service excellence, and first place in the reliability index of Globes and Statista.

El Al is in the midst of the process of upgrading the flight experience in all its aspects and as part of an investment in this process, El Al launched the new chef’s menu by Assaf Granit, and upgraded the first Boeing 777 in the fleet to the Dreamliner configuration,
