Resolving Conflict and Apologies in The Spanish Village: Zarra

Matthew opens the conversation. He wants to clarify his meeting point, which is getting quite out of hand. “I never had any intention of letting it get this high.”

The discussion in the previous episode comes unexpectedly. “I think the fire went into the pan because we were all tired,” said Raymond.

For Matthew, fatigue shouldn’t be a reason to escalate the conversation. “Having a discussion with each other, up to that. But to be fair, you also got a short circuit. What really bothers me is what happened at the end. So I can’t stand this kind of quarrels and certainly not shouting .”

The painful statements must be discussed. “You razed me to the ground,” Bianca says to Matthew. He thinks otherwise. “I think everyone experiences it in their own way. So everyone is right for their own feeling.”

Now that the couples have broken the ice, Sabrina is really waiting for one thing: Raymond’s heartfelt apology. “That it hasn’t been will always stick with me,” she tells him.

Raymond decides to offer a sincere apology to Sabrina. “When I make an excuse, it never comes easily.” Sabrina can live with that. “And now on,” she says. In good spirits, the enthusiastic couples continue their adventure to make their Spanish dream come true.
