In this moment when the cultural break has affected so many projects, theaters that have had to lower the curtain, cinemas closed or with capacity restrictions, artists unable to give concerts, a project has just been born that seeks to inspire people to get excited again in the theater, in the cinema, in concerts, in exhibitions. – It is a project of the Ymás platform, which presides the actor Antonio Resines who this afternoon has looked at ‘La Ventana’ with Carles Francino to explain how this idea arises and how cultural projects can be promoted from now on: “Connect the world of culture with that of companies”, this is the initiative “Come back to life” created by the platform “Ymás”, which will promote cultural projects that cannot afford it, to “reactivate the field of culture” . An initiative presented by Antonio Resines and to which popular faces such as Antonio Banderas, Michelle Jenner and Dani Rovira have lent their support, in a project that tries to revive the cultural sphere, hit by the pandemic. As a consequence of the impact of the pandemic in the cultural sector, the company has presented the initiative “Come back to life”, which seeks “That people return to the cinemas, theaters, concerts and exhibitions with the certainty that the culture is safe.” They have also shown their support for this project Antonio Banderas, Belén Rueda, and Úrsula Corberó, as well as Santiago Segura, Michelle Jenner or Dani Rovira, who, among others, star in the promotional video for “Vuelve a la vida”, under the direction and production of Julián Zuazo, independent film director after relevant social projects, such as “Top blanket, top model”. “Once upon a time there was such a powerful enemy that he decided to pose a battle to all humanity … he forbade them to dance, sing and tell stories, he knew that, without emotions, they would cease to be human beings”, narrates the piece, made in black and white set by the melody of the final act of “Swan Lake.” Throughout this, different actors and well-known faces of the culture they bring works and authors such as Shakespeare, Lorca or Buñuel to the screen, recalling the power of culture, and remarking that applauding “culture, history and art” is a “great ovation to the human being.” The initiative, to which Resines predicts “a long journey”, will select every fortnight a cultural project that will be promoted with a communication campaign on media such as subway billboards, screens, kiosks, buses, giant screens in Plaza Callao or social networks, thus managing to give voice to those projects that “cannot afford it financially.” –
