The news of Wednesday August 12, 2020 was marked by the sensational resignation of Professor Papa Touré, PCA of Dalal Jamm Hospital. This decision, certainly of a high symbolic significance, would not have had much resonance had it not been for this pandemic context where each health specialist and actor, like a soldier, constitutes a real shield for fellow citizens.
The motivation for his departure, despite the taunts of the Presidential Camp, which he brandished, comparing the Dalal Jamm Hospital, flagship of the health infrastructure of the Suburbs, to a simple Health Center, pushes us to put on the latter a worrying spotlight.
The Islamic Development Bank IDB and other foreign investors co-financed the CONSTRUCTION and theEQUIPMENT from Dalal Jamm Hospital in the amount of fifty-six (56) million dollars. Despite this, a budget overrun was noted after the civil engineering works resulting in additional funding for EQUIP the hospital.
As usual, sagacious and perceptive in the misappropriation of objectives, of public funds or in imprecise estimates during the strategic planning of national projects, the Senegalese authorities concerned, have achieved the unprecedented feat of operating this hospital with almost a technical platform (laboratories, medical imaging, intensive care, operating theaters, emergency services, etc.) does not exist.
In addition, Professor Touré calls on the relevance and urgency of an investment, by President Macky SALL, of a billion and a half for the construction of a marrow transplant center and another for medically assisted procreation. .
The latter is a project that brings together a set of techniques for conceiving a child without having sex. An idea to build such a center in a hospital where there is a lack of ALL, a health infrastructure predisposed, by Decree No. 2011-1916 of 29 November, to the status of a level 3 public health hospital in the form of the Sant Yalla health post.
A bitterness expressed by the professor in these terms: “Such a decision that I could not defend, does not meet the immediate needs of this hospital, nor the urgency imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic nor our health imperatives public. “
With this project to build a medically assisted procreation center, Senegal plans to explore the paths of artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization, paths contrary to the orthodoxy of the essence of life.
Through this project, the lobbies and dark powers gathered around the ideologies of Eugenics, Transhumanism and Gender have just dictated their priorities in Senegal. President Macky Sall has just laid the first stone of the project to destroy the basic social unit, the family in all its splendor and humanism.
It is neither more nor less than a design recorded in the referendum law of 2016, under the mystifying seal of a national strategy to fight against all forms of inequality. This taking charge of gender issues, by our fundamental law, consecrates the destructuring of a socio-cultural construct fundamentally damaged and tainted by phenomena resulting from the transport and transfer of Western ideas.
Through my voice, I am launching an appeal, an alert to religious leaders, intellectuals and the vital forces of the Nation for an outcry in the face of this inopportune and absurd project at odds with the values that underpin our everyday actions. .
