The Department of Agriculture announced the results of the inspection of imported and domestically produced fruits and vegetables between 3-9 March.
The results obtained as a result of the analyzes made in the State Laboratory by taking samples from imported and domestic products were evaluated according to the Pesticide Residue Limits used in the European Union.
According to the written statement made by the department, while 25 samples out of 30 samples were evaluated in the clean category, 5 products with over-limit plant protection products were found.
SVS Tic. Ltd. Pear (Deveci), Pear (SM) and Apple (Golden) belonging to Pear (Deveci), Pear (SM) and Apple (Golden) products were returned to their origin upon the request of the company.
Since an over-limit plant protection product was detected in Apple (Golden), owned by Orc Foods, the product was destroyed at the request of the company.
Halil Kasap Paz. Ltd.’s Apple (Golden) product was returned to its origin upon the request of the company, as an over-limit plant protection product was detected.
In domestic products, 15 samples out of 16 samples were found to be clean, while 1 product with a non-recommended plant protection product was found.
Since a non-recommended plant protection product was detected in the vine leaf belonging to Tatlısu village resident Özcan Bozkoyun, it was decided to destroy the product.
