Residents’ stories about the robbers stabbed Basarnas employees to death in Kemayoran

A chicken noodle trader, Sutarjo (52), heard the news of the stabbing in the morning. He said the police were investigating the crime scene after the incident.

“I don’t know what the characteristics (of the victim) are, I just heard that there was a crime scene, what was wrong with a lot of police, ‘someone was hacked last night’, like that. It never mind,” said Sutarjo when met at the location, Saturday (10/23/2021).

Sutarjo trades chicken noodles every day not far from the location. He said the area there is quite prone to robbery. The reason, said Sutarjo, at 21.00 WIB and above, the area was deserted.

“If you say it’s vulnerable, it’s vulnerable. At night, it’s said that it’s over 9 o’clock already quiet. Already not like before this COVID,” he said.

“Yes, it’s quiet, the cigarette shop is not like it used to be. It used to be 24 hours. Since COVID, then PPKM, now he is closed at 22.00-23.00 WIB. So the location is in front of the cigarette shop just,” he continued.

Then, Sutarjo told that he had been hit by a robbery in the area several years ago. However, the thief was not caught.

“I was also snatched by a child again at 2 pm in 2012, pick up the bag,” he said.

“Many (the situation), too padet. Indeed if we shout, the name goes like that, yes people… unless he falls see right. Except in the village, it can be chased,” he added.

Then, there is another resident Asep (28), a shop keeper around the scene. Asep received information that the victim was hacked and eventually died.

“All they know is that there were robbers, they were stabbed and then died in the hospital. already that just anyway,” said Asep.
