Residents saved by carbon monoxide detector in Volendam | Inland

‘Creep through the eye of the needle’

Volendam – Five residents of a house on Siriusplein in Volendam were rescued on Monday evening by a carbon monoxide detector, the Zaanstreek-Waterland Safety Region reports. “They got through the eye of the needle,” a spokesperson said. Very high concentrations of carbon monoxide were measured in the house.
