Residents Reveal Brimob Figures Erupted Shots at the South Jakarta Police Complex

Jakarta

A member of the Korbrimob Polri was arrested after firing 9 bullets at his home in Jakarta Police Complex, South Jakarta. The locals told about the perpetrator.

One resident with the initials T whose house is right in front of the perpetrator said that the perpetrator was a temperamental person and had been involved in several small problems there.

“He is temperamental, a dumpling maker who passes by is scolded like that,” he said when met on Saturday (21/5/2022).

In fact, he said, before the gunshots were heard on Thursday night, the perpetrator had an argument with his neighbour.

“On Thursday, there was a resident next door too, he was working on an expedition to clean up packages, he was suddenly reprimanded by the perpetrator. He said ‘hey why did you use heh-heh-heh to me’ said the perpetrator. He felt that he didn’t bother him, he replied ‘who’s bothering you, my person isn’t heh-heh-heh’,” he explained

“Then the culprit went inside, because we already knew that the perpetrator was temperamental, the mas (expeditionary officer) immediately went inside for fear of taking out a weapon. He reported to me the incident,” he continued.

T said the gunshots occurred two days in a row. The first occurred on Thursday (19/5) around 23.00 WIB with one shot. Next happened on Friday (20/5) around 13.00 WIB with a total of four times eight shots.

The perpetrator is a member of the Kelapa Dua Brimob

Previously, residents at the National Police complex in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, were shocked by the sound of gunfire from one of the houses in the area. The results of the investigation revealed that the gunshot came from the weapon of a member of the Korbrimob Polri.

“The member who carried out the shooting was a member of the Korbrimob Polri Kelapa Dua,” said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E Zulpan when contacted, Saturday (21/5).
