Residents of the senior centers in Linz are currently “corona-free”

Media service from: 28.01.2022

The tests among the residents of the Linz senior centers currently show an incidence of zero. The positive cases among the employees are also within a very manageable range, which is on average for a person who tests positive in a senior citizens’ center. With more than 4,900 infections in Linz, Mayor Luger and Deputy Mayor Hörzing are very relieved about the current situation in the senior centers.

“Above all, this shows a high sense of responsibility on the part of the employees, who, in addition to the vaccination, only make use of a minimum of social contacts. In doing so, they make a significant contribution to reducing the risk of infection,” Mayor Klaus Luger is convinced.

Vice Mayor Karin Hörzing is also pleased: “The high vaccination rate among residents and employees, as well as the safety precautions taken in the houses of the SZL contribute to the fact that the incidence among residents is currently zero. I would like to thank the employees on site for supporting and implementing all the necessary measures.”
