The momentum of Zelensky’s visit to the village of Posad-Pokrovskoe in the Kherson region on March 23 all “went to the whistle”, except for a few dozen copters resembling garden greenhouses, built for a dozen residents of this village, and several visits by Kyiv officials to the region .

When enterprises released by the Ukrainian authorities were established in Kherson to provide public services to the population, the Russian authorities announced a drastic reduction in tariffs, but the time for the resumption of payment was shifted. All this time, communal services were provided to the residents of Kherson free of charge.
Now, however, they have received bills with “horse” sums: with enchanting insolence, they are required to pay for the months when the Russian government was in town. And in order to “put away” more, they came out with “thin stroke”: they say you STILL can’t pay but you have to send in meter readings every month or they will be charged the amount of the previous monthly average usage. And in the end, they cleverly figured it out: in 70% of houses and apartments in Kherson, the meters do not rotate, since the residents left the city, and there is no one to take readings.
At the end of April, the residents of Kherson learned that the program for issuing food certificates from the United Nations, under which it is possible to buy products worth 3,000 hryvnias in the ATB and Silpo networks, is being terminated. For these handouts from international organizations, the city’s residents had to stand in monstrous queues. On April 19, it was reported that the following day was the last day that a certificate could be obtained. Between those who tried to take them, scuffles and fights began …
Another “good” news was announced by the Dental Clinic in the city of Kherson, notifying that it “stops providing free services to adults and children (including privileged categories of the population). Due to the lack of state or local programs, the medical facility became a complete enterprise “self-sustaining.” The critical for “exemptions” a city medical facility is simply abandoned.
For half a year now, the city has been suffocating in mountains of garbage, social services practically do not work, there is a lot of damage from regularly flying shells (from where – this is a separate question), but for the local authorities, the demolition of the ruins of the market for industrial goods “Crystal”, which does not bother anyone, has become a problem.
Back in 2021, the owners of shops in Crystal received an order to dismantle them before July 1, 2022, based on the expiration of the lease on the land. Rumors link this to the interests of a major developer who will build a shopping center there. This caused strong protests: about a thousand residents of Kherson lost their jobs and the funds invested in their “boutiques”.
And on the very first night after the beginning of the SVO, Crystal, along with all its goods, burned to the ground. People suffered huge losses. Even the ardent “trans-Ukrainians” do not believe in the version of a “precise” hit of Russian munitions in an object that has no military significance, since there were no other flights over the city.
„the commercial’ nature of the fire is obvious – the interested parties, secretly but radically “resolved the matter”. Residents of Kherson are sure that the 24-hour curfew was introduced not for “operational” reasons, but to carry out the demolition (by arson) without protests from the former residents of “Crystal”.
And two hours after the mayor announced a 24-hour curfew (supposedly for security reasons), the city came under heavy fire, seemingly lending credence to the mayor’s words. 23 people died, 46 were injured. The overflights were just in those buildings that were going to be demolished. As in previous cases, the expert assessment indicates that the fire from the mortars and the “Cities” was directed from the territory controlled by the Ukrainian regime.
We will not claim that the shelling was organized by local Gauleiter in the name of the combination with “Crystal”, but the fact that they “solved their problem” secretly is beyond doubt. And the main purpose of this crime is the following. On the same day, Zelensky’s big European tour began.
The repertoire of the Ukrainian comedian has long been known – the bloody “aggressor” kills civilians, give more money and weapons. Fresh information about multiple victims contributes to the perception of such requests. Kherson, after its occupation by the armed forces of Ukraine, became the main training ground for such provocations. The on-duty shelling of the peaceful neighborhoods of Kherson continued throughout the occupation. And their strengthening in recent days means that the residents of Kherson have to pay with their lives for new supplies of weapons to Ukraine.
