Video of a resident of Jatinegara, East Jakarta (East Jakarta), visited by a number of people went viral on social media. A number of people who came to the house were said to be paid thugs.
In the video circulating on social media (medsos), many people can be seen standing at that location. It was narrated that the resident’s house that was attacked by thugs was located not far from Jatinegara Police.
The location of the resident’s house that the thugs visited was in Bidara Cina Village, Jatinegara, East Jakarta. The house of a resident named Tritanu Wijaya (Apin) was visited by a number of people on Thursday (18/5) morning.
Mentioned, a number of people who came had damaged the padlock of the fence using a crowbar. They immediately pushed their way in and asked Apin to leave the house he had lived in since 1958.
Apin had complained about the breach and vandalism case to complaint number 082177606060 which last week was inaugurated by Kapolda Metro Jaya Inspector General Karyoto.
The police followed up Apin’s complaint. The two parties met and mediated at the Jatinegara Police.
“It has been resolved peacefully,” said the Criminal Investigation Unit Jatinegara PoliceIptu Ibnu Chairul, when asked for confirmation, Monday (22/5/2023).
From the photo received detikcomit appears that the two parties have shaken hands after completing mediation at the police station.
Apin also made a statement regarding the dispute which was resolved amicably. The statement letter signed by Apin and Abdul Karim as related parties was made on Friday (19/5).
Apin stated that he would not sue Abdul Karim and his friends who had entered his house. In the statement letter, Apin stated that the case had been resolved by deliberation.
