“Residents Call for Immediate Repair of Dangerous Road in Ciamis, West Java”

hoperakyat.com, – The road is prone to accidents due to the excavation of pipe repairs PDAM which is not completely repaired. Motorized vehicle users who pass the T-junction on Jalan Yos Sudarso, Ciamis, West Java, have asked the government to repair it immediately.

Ade Dindin, a resident who admits that he passes this route almost every day when he goes to work.

If you drive your vehicle too far when cornering, you will surely step on the former excavation.

“Twice I got caught in a trap while crossing that route. The former PDAM pipe excavation was filled with pebbles. Fortunately, the motorbike is slow, and if it is fast, an accident can definitely occur,” he said, Friday (28/94/2023).

According to Ade, motorbikes usually step on the excavated site in the morning, because many residents who use motorbikes go to work. Or the motorcycle taxi drivers pulling cargo to Pasar Ciamis.

If allowed to continue like that, many motorcycle users could have an accident. Moreover, the location is on the corner of the road.

“I had experienced it. Because there were many motorbikes and cars passing by too far away, I was pressed by a car. So the motorbike tires run over the road where the excavations were made, even though they are not deep, they are dangerous,” he said.

There is a former PDAM pipe excavation that has not been completely repaired, he also hopes that the Ciamis PDAM can fix it soon.

The goal is that motorized vehicle users do not feel anxious when crossing the road bend.
