MIDDELBURG – A fire broke out in a house at Park De Moucheron in Middelburg on Tuesday evening. No one was injured.
At around 7:45 p.m., the fire brigade was notified that a fire was raging on the roof of the house. Because it was reported that the fire was spreading, it was scaled up to medium fire. In the end, two fire vehicles and an aerial platform were used.
The duty officer was able to give the ‘fire master’ signal around 8.10 pm. The fire brigade then extinguished the fire for a while. The Salvage Foundation has been called upon to support the owner in dealing with the damage that has arisen.
