A week ago, an 8-millimeter-diameter iron ball flew onto the 29th floor of an apartment in Songdo, Incheon.
The landlord was not only surprised by the sudden roar, but also felt a threat to his life.

″I was alone at home. I heard the sound of metal pipes colliding… If you hit the head with the (iron ball) instead of glass, you could die… ″
There were no casualties, but there was a 3 cm hole in the window outside the veranda, and the surrounding area was also broken or cracked.

″(The sound) came out quite loud and I was surprised, so I first reported it to the police and applied to the management office. “The window is broken”… ″
At that time, the police searched the surroundings and found two iron balls that appeared to have hit the glass windows.
As a result of the coverage, it was confirmed that not only this household, but all three households had been reported to the police that they had suffered similar damage.
The suspect arrested by the police after tracking CCTV was a man in his 60s who lived in a neighboring building about 100 meters away.
In the man’s house, slingshots and iron beads came out in piles, and rubber bands and shooting targets were also found.

″How is that possible? There are quite a few streets. People on the street can get hit too. scary… ″
During the police investigation, the man is known to have stated that he did not aim at a specific neighbor, although he admitted that he had fired a slingshot with an iron ball.
Incheon Yeonsu Police Station plans to apply for an arrest warrant for the man after further investigation.
