A man was murdered this weekend inside his own home in Havana, due to a possible robbery with violence.
According to the Cuban influencer Niover Licea, the incident occurred last Saturday, March 9, in the municipality of Regla, and the victim, identified as Martín Galloso, was dedicated to selling dollars.
The complaint states that those responsible for ending the citizen’s life also took his cell phone, a watch and possibly a large amount of cash.
While there are not many details about what happened, it is known that the murder would have taken place between 7:00 and 8:00 pm last Saturday, in a home located on 27 de Noviembre Street, between Martí and Máximo Gómez. .
Licea points out that, after committing the homicide, those responsible escaped from the house and spread detergent on the floor, possibly with the aim of erasing any traces and misleading the dogs of the National Revolutionary Police (PNR).
Despite these attempts, a resident of the area told the influencer that the authorities managed to follow a trail to a nearby street, where an investigation has been launched.
According to the statements of some residents of Regla, the night of Saturday, March 9, was particularly bloody, because in addition to Galloso’s murder, at least one other violent death was also recorded in the area.
One of the residents of the place confirmed the death of Galloso, and indicated that the second deceased would have been a young man of just 21 years of age, who was the victim of an assault with the aim of taking away his cell phone.
Another woman, who claimed to live near the victim, said that the couple and the deceased’s daughter live outside the Island.
At the moment, no further details of the case have emerged, but Galloso’s death adds to the wave of violent crimes that has been reported by the population on social networks. This situation may be due to the current economic crisis plaguing Cuba, with shortages playing an important role in making extreme and violent decisions.
