Resident Evil Village on iPhone 15: Gameplay Revealed but Touch Controls Questioned

Resident Evil Village has been shown in action on the iPhone 15, along with a gameplay video posted by Game Informer that apparently tests out a portable version of Capcom’s excellent survival shooter.

However, it appears the Japanese design team have opted for a set of touch controls that leave a lot to be desired, with manual focus activated by lifting the thumb used to move the image.

Coming to the App Store on October 30th for around €30, Resident Evil Village looks visually impressive on the iPhone 15 screen, but the overall quality of the game will have to be tested.

The problem, as shown in this Resident Evil Village video, is that when ported, without the ability to connect a Bluetooth controller or use a larger screen, it reveals some significant issues where apps aren’t optimized enough for this new dimension.
