Capcom confirmed that Resident Evil Village the japanese version will be censored to meet the country’s CERO (Computer Entertainment Rating Organization) standards.
In about two months, detikers can enjoy the survival horror game made by Capcom. After a few weeks ago they announced that they would release Resident Evil Village on May 7, 2021. Now Capcom is providing the latest information regarding this game, which will have a screening procedure for Resident Evil Village in Japan.
As we know, in the Resident Evil game series, there are many scenes covered in blood, the result of injuring your opponent. Not a few uses of sharp weapons, firearms, and other forms of violence have managed to give a pretty scary picture to this game.
Apart from the storyline given, the game mechanic which is quite sadistic is also a unique value for gamers against the Resident Evil game. But unfortunately, in Japan not all people can enjoy every dangerous scene in Resident Evil Village.
Quoted from the official Capcom Japan website from Fanbyte, the developer stated that this game will have two versions, first D Rating (17 years and over) and Z Rating (18 years and over). Regardless of which version is present, Capcom assures fans that there is basically no difference between the versions released overseas and in Japan.
However, there is a slight difference in the expression of the content offered. The differences consisted of not being decapitated and showing less blood. This has been confirmed by Alex Aniel, Japan Business Manager of Limited Run Games on his personal Twitter.
