The last two Resident Evil titles are headed to the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max
You can play Village already in October, the remake of the 4th part only in December
However, the price is boldly chosen, especially compared to the console versions
The Japanese company Capcom has announced how it will be with the availability of the last two Resident Evil titles on iPhones. Players will be waiting very soon, in a month they will be able to play the eighth installment of Resident Evil Village on iPhones. It will be followed by the release of the expected remake of Resident Evil 4, which premiered on consoles in March.

According to official information from Apple, we can confirm that Resident Evil Village arriving on iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max on October 30. On this day, the game will also be newly available for all iPad Air and iPad Pro models with Apple Silicon chips. The official price was set at 39.99 dollars, i.e. about 925 crowns.
The price is chosen relatively confidently. After all, Village is a title from 2021, when it was released for PlayStation and Xbox consoles. In autumn 2022, it also came to Nintendo Switch and Mac computers. By the way, the selected price is the same as the full console version. A digital copy of Resident Evil Village will be available on the PlayStation Store for 1,049 CZK including VAT.
The most expensive mobile games
Apple probably believes that the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will offer true console quality, which is why they seem to choose such a confident price. At the same time, the newest game from the Resident Evil universe is already hanging on the App Store, namely remake of the 4th part. It should arrive on December 31, 2023, and the price should be even higher: $59.99, i.e. about 1,400 crowns. The title has been available for game consoles since March, in the PlayStation Store it costs CZK 1,649 including VAT.
So Capcom has priced its games very boldly indeed. At the same time, it set the bar for other developer studios that want to deliver their AAA titles to iPhones. One thing is clear – mobile players will have to slowly get used to the fact that mobile games with a price of a few hundred at most are gone. It’s time for really hyped mobile games, but at the same time they come with a big price tag.
