Resident Evil 4 has received a Mercenaries update that is completely free. However, it seems that this is not the only content that the game has received in the end. In addition to the free mode, it also appeared 11 DLC. These are tickets that allow you to upgrade your weapons with specific enhancements that actually increase their combat effectiveness. For example, Red9 has a power upgrade so he can deal more damage, while the Punisher is able to punch through five targets in a row with his bullets.
When you buy DLC, you then get free upgrades from merchants, which can give you a decent boost. However, they are not something you necessarily have to buy. However, their addition is undoubtedly a big surprise. What’s interesting about the whole situation is that these expansions didn’t appear until after the Resident Evil 4 Remake reviews were released, in which they probably wouldn’t have been highly praised.
