Resident Evil 4 remake demo launched on NVIDIA RTX4090 at maximum speed

A couple of days ago, Capcom released the Chainsaw demo of the Resident Evil 4 remake. And here’s how the game runs on the NVIDIA RTX4090.

The test used an Intel i9 9900K, 16 GB DDR4 @ 3800 MHz and NVIDIA RTX 4090; Windows 10 64-bit and GeForce 531.26 driver.

In Native 4K/maximum settings and with ray tracing, the NVIDIA RTX4090 was able to run the game smoothly. Basically, the demo ran at 90-110fps. However, at the end of the video, we see that the Intel i9 9900K is outperformed by the RTX4090 even at 4K. The good news is that this legacy processor can still support frame rates in excess of 70fps. What’s more, you can get a significant performance boost if you just disable ray tracing.
