On Friday night, Sony held a new version of the game show State of Play. There, the PlayStation maker was able to unveil a new version of Resident Evil 4.
The game is scheduled to launch on April 24, 2023, with additional content developed for PlayStation VR2.
Overtakes the story
Via the official PlayStation blog Capcom explains that Resident Evil 4 Remake follows the same template as the series’ previous remakes. Here, the visuals must be lifted up and forward, while the “essence” of the original game must be preserved.
As far as history is concerned, this will certainly undergo some changes. How much Capcom plans to change is not yet clear, but as the developer says, the game should seem familiar to fans, while introducing the feeling of something new.
Players are placed back in the shoes of Leon S. Kennedy, who strays into a new zombie adventure in a secluded city in Europe. Then we’ll see how it goes over there.
We are updating the case.
