Resident Evil 4 remake released tonight and started great on PC, and a few hours later the game became the franchise’s most popular game on Steam and one of Capcom’s most popular titles. Just in time for the release, several comparison videos appeared – and the technical experts from Digital Foundry, who tested the console versions of the game, did not stand aside.

In short, the Xbox Series X has better graphics, but the PS5 has slightly higher frame rates and more responsive controls.

There are two graphics modes to choose from: Resolution and Performance. Also, ray tracing is possible on the PS5, but it doesn’t make much sense.

On PS4, texture issues keep popping up again and again. Also, unfortunately there is no option to set the frame rate to 30 fps. This would be especially useful for the latest generation version. However, if you are using VRR, this should not matter.

According to a tech enthusiast, Capcom did a great remake, in which the company went to great lengths to recreate Resident Evil 4 with modern technology without ruining the game itself.
